I hear You Knocking… But You Can’t Come In!!

For most chickens, a shiny new orange Eglu would be the height of class and luxury!!  Not so, Charlie and Lola!  It hasn’t taken them long to sense that the ‘grass might be greener’ on the other side of the back door, and they are now on a mission to get into our house!!  They have perfected their ‘cold, hungry, homeless‘ routine down to a t, as they stand pecking pitfully at the door…heads at a slight angle Princess D style.   

Even now, with the snow falling quite heavily, all we can hear is peck, peck, peck!!  Mmmm – nice try at getting the sympathy vote girls… but it’s not going to happen!
